Music is an important component to our life. It brings joy and a feeling a peace. In young children, listening to age appropriate music helps them to learn numbers and letters. Listening to music helps to promote concentration. It may even help improve test scores. According to the Gallup Poll, American Attitudes Toward Music in 2003, “71% of Americans surveyed by the Gallup Poll believe that teenagers who play an instrument are less likely to have disciplinary problems.” It is important for children to have music education.
